I am so sorry to learn of Jon's passing. I worked with him for several years at Celina's JC Penney. I remember him as always being happy and thinking of others. The first memory that came to my mind was Jon's volunteering to work Mother's Day so one of the associates could be at home with her family on that day. That was so thoughtful of him.

Sincere heartfelt condolences to the Jones family on the loss of Jon. Such sad news to hear. Knowing Jon as my old neighbor off Oak Street and Dogwood and eventually graduating together in the class of 1979. I just had the privilege of talking with Jon on New Years Eve at the Eagles. We chatted about the old neighborhood, how good his mom looked and about high school. It was nice and so glad we were able catch up. Prayers to his family for strength and healing.

Irene and family, our deepest sympathy. Dad enjoyed seeing Jon next door. My nephews said he was so nice. We would help him mow sometimes and he would clear grandpa's driveway for us. He will be sadly missed. May God 's peace be with you. Bill and Margie Sell

I too want to take a moment to express my deepest condolences to Jon's family. I also had the pleasure of working of with Jon at Omni Mfg. To echo the sentiments of others ~ what a diligent, caring and personable guy! You could always depend on Jon to get the job done, plus more ... without even asking. When I met John it was ironic to discover that he had also worked with my Mom (Jeanette Zehringer) at JCP. She has since passed, but I recall her speaking highly of Jon as well. :) We will all miss his smile and kind heart. Rest in Peace Jon. May God hold his family, many friends and treasured co-workers close in this difficult time. With Sympathy.

To Jon's family, I am a co-worker of Jon's for as long as he has been there and I would just like to tell you what a hard worker he was. He was always watching out for his fellow co-workers doing things that he didn't have to do but did anyway. His shoes will truly be hard to fill. I will miss him terribly, I'm just at a lose for words on how much he meant to me and all. Mom, you raised a fine young man that has been taken from us way to soon, that I will never understand.

To Jon’s family...please accept my most sincere sympathy. While I only knew Jon for the past 2 plus years, as a co-worker of his at Omni Manufacturing, I appreciated his ability to see things that needed to be done that no one else was doing and he just did them, without any drama, fanfare, or drumrolls. With his passing, we are certainly going to miss his personality and committment to his job. Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon him. May he forever rest in peace in the company of our God. Amen.
