Patricia Louise Sutter

Patricia Louise Sutter, age 80, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. 

She was born on Dec. 28, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Stuart and Olive (Reichard) Tittle. On August 5, 1961 she married Jerome “Jerry” Sutter, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2013.   Patricia is also preceded in death by two still born infants Joseph and Mary. 

Survivors include her children Glenn Sutter of Celina, Shirley (Ron) Short of Celina, Randy (Nikki) Sutter of Kossuth, Kevin Sutter of Celina; seven grandchildren Megan Short, Kenny Short, Andy Sutter, Tony Sutter, Miranda Shroyer, Brooke Sutter, Ashley Thees; seven great grandchildren Nollie, Oliver, River, Wesson, Walker, Parker, Chloe Thees, and two brothers Charlie (MaryAnn) Tittle of Yuma, Arizona and Richard Tittle of Tool, TX. 

Patricia was a graduate of the Coldwater High School with the Class of 1961.  She was formerly employed at The Coffee Shop in Celina, was a waitress at Arnie’s Corner in Montezuma and Mersman Brothers Table Company in Celina, Ohio.  She finished her work career as a truck driver for Stoops Anderson Trucking Company in Indiana. 

She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of God in Celina and a member of the Mercer County Senior Citizens.  Enjoyed volunteering at the Mercer County Council on Aging and a former member of the Grand Lake Riding Club and the Mercer County Saddle Club.  She was an avid animal lover and owner of dogs and horses. Patricia was well known for her ornery side, she loved to joke around, was very adventurous, and had her own motorcycle. She was a big Elvis Presley fan and had a room dedicated to his memorabilia.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Randy Christian officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Coldwater.  Family and Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, and an hour before services on Friday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 480 W.
