Glenda F. (Rife) Ballinger

Glenda Fern Ballinger, age 86, of Celina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born the oldest of ten children to the late Earl D. and Nora (Frances) Rife, in Jasper County, Illinois. On July 23, 1954 she married Robert Ballinger, who died May 24, 1999. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Charlene Ballinger of Cincinnati and many good friends.

She was a charter member of the Celina V. F. W. Auxiliary Post #5713, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #210, the Celina Eagles and a member of the Celina Moose Lodge.

She was employed as an inspector for Ohio Decorative and retired in 1999.

Due to the national health concerns, the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home and the Ballinger Family are following directives outlined by the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, limiting attendance to the visitation and funeral service to immediate family members and close friends only.

Graveside memorial rights will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday April 1, 2020 at the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Glenda is in the care of the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care 1350 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
