Barbara K. (Hoch) Kill

Barbara Kay Kill, age 81, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, Ohio. She was born on October 30, 1938 in Spencerville, Ohio to the late Clayton and Frances (Wright) Hoch. On November 10, 1956 she married Carl Kill, surviving in Celina. She is survived by her three children Carla (Rod) Hirschfeld of Celina, Eric (Donna) Kill of Cardington, Jennifer (Chad) Lucht of Pickerington, her six grandchildren Greg Hirschfeld, Megan Hirschfeld, Matthew Kill, Joshua Kill, Daniel Kill, Cameron Lucht, her sister Cheryl (Michael) Wright of Summerville, S.C. and her brother-in-law Richard Ashbaugh of Cridersville.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and sister Linda (Hoch) Ashbaugh.

She graduated from Spencerville High School with the class of 1956. She worked at the Ohio State Highway Patrol in St. Mary’s and Wapakoneta, as a dispatcher and retired after 25 years of service on December 31, 1998.

A visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Attendees are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health.
