Obituary

Theresa Ann "Teri" Bowen

1959 - 2026

Theresa Ann Bowen (Mallory), affectionately known as "Teri" to all who loved her, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was 67 years old and a longtime resident of Celina, Ohio.

Teri was born the daughter of the late Dennis Mallory and Darlene (Winget) Mallory-Cole. She graduated from Celina High School in 1977 and spent many years building a career at Totally Promotional in Coldwater, retiring in 2025.

Teri had a gift for making people feel cared for. She was often the first call when someone needed advice on gardening or canning, and she loved nothing more than spending sunny days outside tending her garden, growing vegetables and houseplants, and putting up the season's harvest. In the kitchen she was just as at home, sharing recipes and treating family and friends to her wonderful cooking. Resilient, hardworking, and endlessly generous with her time, she was always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear to anyone who needed one. She met her final days with that same strength and remarkable positivity, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Theresa was a member of the Celina Moose Lodge #1473, the Celina Eagles Aerie #1291 and the Celina V.F. W. Post #5713.

Teri is survived by her two children, Heather Rodziewicz of Hobart, Indiana, and Steven (Heather) Powalski of Loveland; her four grandchildren, Austin Yergler, Corinne Rodziewicz, McKenna Powalski, and Harley Powalski; her four siblings, Cheryl (Steve) Evans of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bob (GiGi) Mallory of Nashville, Tennessee, Michael Mallory of Arizona, and Scott (Angel) Mallory of Celina; and her significant other, Mark Krogman of Celina.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Mallory.

A Celebration of Teri's Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Celina V.F.W. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, P.O. Box 624, Celina, Ohio 45822. Condolences may be shared with the Bowen family online at LehmanDzendzelFh.com.
