Noah William Brown, 2, of Celina, passed away the morning of February 23, 2026 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater and is now dancing and running with angels. He was born on March 15, 2023 in Coldwater to Eric D. and Claire E. (Hemmelgarn) Brown of Celina.
Survivors also include paternal grandparents, Rob & Marla Brown and Kim Adams; paternal great-grandparents, Francis & Doris Brown and Sandra Adams; maternal grandparents, Kathy & Shawn Ackley and Mark & Linda Hemmelgarn; maternal great-grandparents, Bill & Jane Boeckman; four aunts and uncles, Robert & Angie Brown, Andrew Hemmelgarn & Darion Ziegler, Monica & Tony Losekamp and Olivia Hemmelgarn, his godmother; and an extended family, including cousins.
A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Noah was also active in the Help Me Grow program, the Center for Neurological Development and the ZC4H2 "ZARD" Community. Mercer County Board of DD in conjunction with The Ohio Superhero Project turned Noah into a true superhero, complete with his own theme song.
With a smile that lit up a room and a laugh that melted hearts, Noah taught us how to be patient and accepting of differences. He was a fighter since birth, overcoming many obstacles with tremendous strength. Our lives are better for knowing and loving him. Noah and his family are grateful for his incredible friends and caregivers at Dayton Children's Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father John Tonkin and Father Rob Muhlenkamp will concelebrate and interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Celina. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
