Alberta Everman Obituary

Alberta Ida Everman, age 90 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Celina Manor. She was born on October 31, 1933 to the late Ferd and Regina (Heitkamp) Hein in Montezuma, Ohio. On June 22, 1955, she married S. F. "Red" Everman who passed away on December 12, 2015.

In addition to her husband and parents, Bert was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Victor and Catherine (Kahlig) Everman, her sister Virginia (Ott) Moeller, her brother Lavern Hein, in-laws Phill Hollingsworth, Jim Geise, Pat Hein, Jerry Everman, and her son-in-law Greg Bushman. She is survived by her loving children Pamela (Randy) Baker of Van Wert, Karen (Kevin) Riesen of Celina, Mike (Marie) Everman of Celina, Teresa (Mike) Hoyng of Celina and grandchildren; Aaron Riesen, Brittany Green, Justin Krogman, Shawn Everman, Gina Stachler, Clayton Hoyng, Ryan Hoyng, and eleven great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings; Dort Hollingsworth of Clayton, Lucy Geise of Vandalia, J.R. Hein of Dayton, Ron (Marcia) Hein of Trotwood, a brother-in-law Ivo (Duke) Everman of Celina and special cousin Margie Bertke.

Alberta graduated from Coldwater High School with the class of 1951. She worked part-time as a teller at The Peoples Bank. The cornerstones of her life were her faith in God and her love for her family. Bert was a devoted "mother of all mothers" and treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and the Alter Rosary Society. She was also a chairperson for the Immaculate Conception School bingo, worked funeral luncheons and was on the church cleaning committee. Alberta's favorite pastimes included walking, biking, baking, boating, sharing her love at nursing homes and supporting her grandchildren at sporting events. She loved the Cincinnati Reds and was a huge Celina Bulldog Fan. Bertie had a beautiful smile that will remain in the hearts of her family forever. Although her passing leaves her family with broken hearts and wonderful memories, they are comforted by the fact that she will continue to watch over them from heaven. "THANKS FOR EVERYTHING MOM!"
